My Students
I am a physical education teacher at college prep middle school, whose mission is to prepare students with the academic skills and character traits necessary to thrive in college and in life. My class allows scholars the opportunity to engage in physical activities so that they can return to the academic setting refreshed and ready to focus. During class, my students are able to acquire new skills, try new sports, and discover that physical activity is fun. I have the privilege of educating over 400, 5th-8th grade scholars who come from educationally under-served communities in and around St. Louis, Missouri. My students love to be active and deserve access to a high-quality physical education experience.
My Project
Coach Smith has been an integral part in growing our basketball program at our school. Unfortunately, most of the equipment he uses on a daily basis is worn out, torn up or not able to be used anymore. In order to keep our scholars well equipped, we need items that are going to stand up to continued usage.
We need new basketballs, scrimmage vests, and a ball cart to help our scholars be successful during our basketball seasons.
Our scholars work hard every day and deserve to have the best equipment to help them achieve their goals. Coach Smith and our scholars thank you in advance and appreciate your help in making our program successful!
