I absolutely love using read aloud picture books in my classroom for mentor texts, conversation starters, life lessons, reading skills, rich language and vocabulary, and so much more. Reading aloud to my students is one of my favorite things about teaching, so I want to be able to expand my read aloud classroom library.
I want to guide my students to find the joy in getting lost in a book.
I am unable to do that if my library isn't full of high quality literature that is diverse and about many topics from managing feelings to testing jitters to nonfiction facts to kindness. Updating and adding to my read aloud classroom library can get pricey, but you can't put a price on the love of reading.
Please help me add to my read aloud classroom library so my students can enjoy read alouds during the first week of school and morning meeting.
