Help Fill My Cross-Cat Special Ed Class!

My Project

Thank you for considering donating to my classroom! I am excited to start out my teaching career in a cross-categorical special education classroom. The items that I included in my wishlist will help my students in a variety of ways. First of all, the dry erase markers and boards will assist my students with developing their fine motor skills. Dry erase markers are easier to utilize for many children since they require less dexterity. The dry erase markers and boards will aid my students in improving their handwriting skills.

My goal for including the baskets in my classroom is to optimize organization and to provide each student with a place to store their classroom materials (crayons, markers, pencils, notebooks, etc.).

I also want a turn in box so that I have a I know exactly what needs to be graded and redone. I will use the labels to show which basket belongs to who/what.

The binder rings and sticky tack will also contribute to the organization of my classroom. I want to display students schedules for each day of the week on small pieces of paper and attach binder rings so they can be connected to each child's desk. Since my students are 3-5 grade learners with IEPs, they will have different specials and services (OT, PT, Speech) each day. Therefore, having them learn their schedule and have a visual to rely on will be key.
