About My Students
Stephen, Chris, Bill, and Matt are eighth graders who are on our middle school baseball team.
The four boys take pride in being a part of our school baseball team. Our current baseball equipment is in very poor shape. The equipment is old and needs to be replaced. This is the last year for these four boys to play for this team, so it means a lot to them!
Being on the school baseball team gives my students a sense of pride in taking part of team activity. All four of these boys want to go on an play for their high school team after they leave our school. It is important to give our youth opportunities to take part in organized sports so they learn what it means to be part of a team and the comradery that is involved.
In Their Own Words
We want to update our baseball equipment. The current baseball equipment is very old and in poor shape. New catching equipment would be awesome, not to mention two new bats as well!
The new baseball equipment will be something that can be used by other players years to come. Our coach always says you should take pride in leaving a place better than you found it, so we want to leave our baseball team with better equipment!
This project is important to us because without this funding, we will be stuck using old and outdated baseball equipment. Our baseball team was very successful last year and went undefeated. The past two years we won the district championships. We want to be dressed for success and represent our school the way it should be!
