My Project
In our school 75% of our population is economically disadvantaged. That means if our students who come to school after breakfast ends, they will not have food to eat until lunch.
I am a firm believer in Maslow over Bloom. If our students are hungry there is no possible way they’re going to focus on learning. I try and purchase snacks as much as I can; however, on my budget it does become very expensive.
We are in the year 2023, and no one should go hungry; especially a child. Would you help me with snacks so my students feel a sense of being safe, fed and motivated to learn?
