it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Support our classroom by helping us get Logitech H390 Computer Headsets and Write and Wipe Number and Ten Frame Boards so that my students can thrive in their computer-based math lessons.
The Logitech H390 Computer headsets will help students stay focused and engaged while working independently on their math programs, especially in a busy classroom environment.
Clear audio support is essential for following instructions and participating in interactive learning activities. The Lakeshore Math Boards will provide students with crucial visual and hands-on tools for learning. These boards include numbers to 120 chart, a number line, and ten-frames—resources that will help students count, add, subtract, and compare numbers more effectively. They’ll be instrumental in assisting students to solve word problems within their computer math programs by giving them a physical reference to support their thinking and problem-solving strategies.
The write-and-wipe boards are especially important because they will serve as a hands-on visual aid that helps students better understand key foundational math skills, which include: number sense, counting, and composing/decomposing numbers. This math tool will help students make sense of the math equations. In addition to these math tools, students will be able to visualize problems, show their thinking, and practice math in a fun and interactive way.
Our goal is to help students strengthen their foundational math skills—such as counting, adding, subtracting, and comparing numbers—by using visual tools and technology that support hands-on and independent learning.
