This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each student that enters my classroom is excited to learn and grow in ELA. While they come excited and ready to learn they come from low income households which may play a role in not having essential supplies needed for the school day. The items requested such as notebooks, folders, crayons, and pencils will help my students have access to everyday supplies that are necessary to tackle the day. Additionally, snack foods will help students not be distracted by their hunger and remain engaged in class. Middle school is an essential time for students to absorb information needed to prepare and succeed in high school. Please consider playing a role in helping them achieve these goals.
