Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a classroom of 24 fourth graders students. Students in my school come from a low-income area where 99% of them are awarded free lunch. Despite difficulties and hardships in their early and current lives, they come to school with smiles, and willing to learn and grow They are energetic and enthusiastic and I have been looking for dynamic ways to foster their love of learning in new and exciting ways.
These Chromebooks will help my students achieve their goals in less time during DI.
My Project
In my classroom there is a lot of time dedicated to differentiated instruction for small groups. My students need these Chromebooks to do district mandatory programs such as i-Ready and Reflex math. These will help my students gain more math fluency like: adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
These Chromebooks will prepare the students to be successful learners.
We are constantly monitored concerning the usage minutes of the program and these Chromebooks will help meet these goals.
My students need these two computers for enrichment time on a website that offers students a competitive way to solve math problems. My students work hard but truly struggle because of gaps they have in their prior knowledge.
