My students need handouts...that are stapled together! We make many copies at our school, as surely every school does, and need staples.

My Students
There are many situations throughout the school year when teachers want to make copies of multiple pages for their students.
My students come from all over Brooklyn and can't wait to get to school.
Many are of Russian descent and speak Russian at home with their families. My school is a wonderful and happy place where teachers feel supported and respected. Teachers are partners in decision-making, and there is a (rightful!) assumption of competence by the administration. It is a wonderful place to work.
My Project
Having staples will allow students to receive work and packets which are more than 2 pages long. These might be project packets with detailed descriptions or steps, rubrics, or extra work to complete at home. Students who don't have access to printers at home will be able to receive any work in school, instead of struggling to print it on their own. There will obviously be hundreds of applications and this donation will have a huge impact on the entire student population.
Having access to the specialized type of staples, the only ones that work for our copy machine, would help teachers spend more time working on things that matter most--conferring with students, planning lessons, meeting with their teams, assessing student work.
This one supply will make a big difference at our school.
It's almost hard to specify the impact that this donation will have on ALL students at our school, since staples are such a...staple!
