Help Create an Effective Geometry Classroom with Professional Graphing Calculators

Help me give my students professional graphing calculators to help establish consistency across the class for solving geometrical equations.

My Project

Fulfilling this project request will allow my students the opportunity to utilize professional graphing calculators in their learning and growth in the critical area of geometric mathematics. Establishing a learning environment where students all use the same technology promotes cooperation and effective peer interaction. The requested calculators would supplement those that some students are able to provide for themselves.

My current student cohort suffered from a lack of healthy peer interactions and teacher-student guided learning during the COVID school closures a year and a half ago and the frequent quarantines since then.

This was especially impactful on their mathematic learning progress. Being able to provide constant access to identical calculators would not only positively impact their ability to master geometric concepts, but would also allow students to re-establish those effective cooperative learning situations that have been missing.
