This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me give my students a special space to fall in love with books.

This project will help transform part of our classroom into a cozy, welcoming library corner filled with flexible seating options and a fresh collection of engaging, age-appropriate books.

The goal is to create a calm, inviting environment where every student can explore, imagine, and develop a lifelong love of reading.

The books selected will reflect the rich diversity of our classroom, celebrating different cultures, backgrounds, and lived experiences. They will also be chosen to spark student interests—ranging from video games to graphic novels, mysteries, and more—helping even the most reluctant readers find stories they’re excited to dive into.

With your support, our classroom library will become more than just a corner—it will be a haven where students feel seen, valued, and inspired to read every day.
