This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The books I’m requesting will provide my middle school students with access to a diverse and engaging collection of literature tailored to their unique interests and reading levels.

Many of my students struggle with literacy and are reading below grade level, making it essential to provide books that are both accessible and motivating.

A class library filled with high-interest, age-appropriate books will encourage independent reading, improve comprehension skills, and foster a love of learning. By making books readily available in the classroom, students can explore new ideas, build confidence in their reading abilities, and develop critical thinking skills.

The primary goal of this project is to create a classroom library that inspires a lifelong love of reading while supporting students’ individual learning needs.
