My school is located in a low-income neighborhood with scholars from diverse backgrounds. Nearly all scholars qualify for free school meals.
Despite socioeconomic disadvantages, our melting pot of scholars possesses a positive outlook on learning.
Each child is unique and deserves quality resources and experiences that will shape their future.
We are a Title I school however, it’s often a challenge to find funding to purchase materials and resources. Basic classroom supplies and technology are in high demand in our school, and our scholars deserve to experience high-quality education and resources.
My Project
An air purifier will support health and wellness in our classroom during this hybrid learning 2020-2021 school year. While in the classroom, it's essential that we take the appropriate safety precautions. An air purifier will help provide comfort and reassurance to scholars and their families.
Having an air purifier will make a tremendous difference for the daily routines in the classroom.
Air circulation in the classroom is unfortunately an issue. We do not have central air or air conditioning. With your donation, our classroom will benefit from cleaner air, and allow us to remain focused on our education!
