My Project

Books provide students with opportunities to expand their vocabulary, improve comprehension, and develop critical thinking skills. A classroom library will give them access to engaging stories, helping them build a love for reading while supporting their academic growth. For many, this may be their only access to books outside of school, making it an essential tool in closing literacy gaps.

My goal is to create a diverse and engaging classroom library where students can explore different genres, discover new interests, and develop a lifelong passion for reading.

I want to provide them with books that reflect their experiences and introduce them to new perspectives, fostering both empathy and imagination. Ultimately, I hope to make reading an enjoyable habit that supports their academic success.

My students are creative, curious, and full of potential. Many of them face challenges outside of school, but they show up every day eager to learn and grow. They thrive when given opportunities to explore new ideas and express themselves, and I want to provide them with the resources they deserve to succeed. Their resilience and enthusiasm inspire me to create a learning environment where they can dream big and reach their full potential.
