My Project
I am full time social worker attempting to build out a comprehensive social emotional learning hub in my classroom. I work with school children Pre-k through 8th grade on the West side of Chicago. I work mainly with students with disabilities, but also serve students throughout the school when they need individualized support.
The items in this project will help me create a safe space in my classroom for students to regulate themselves in times of crisis.
The project will also supply art materials for our social work projects and will make learning about emotions fun and engaging for all ages and ability levels.
