Help Budding Composers Bloom

My students need earbuds to create music in the computer lab. We also need headphone splitters so students may collaborate and storage to keep the earbuds organized and sanitary.

My Students

My students are creative, and technology helps their imaginations soar! My older students create music in the computer lab using various programs and websites. Their compositions amaze me!

It is so incredible to create harmony, both musical and social, through powerful learning experiences.

Students who don't normally interact are drawn together when they hear a unique beat or melody. Together, they join forces to make their music even better.

Music is such an integral part of life. Creating music together is an incredible bonding experience. It has helped my students connect and grow together amidst great turmoil in the Ferguson-Florissant community.

My Project

My students work hard creating music in the computer lab. It is sometimes frustrating for students to collaborate on a composition. They cannot have the volume loud enough for all to hear. If one group has their volume loud, other groups can't hear their own music playing. Earbuds and splitters would solve this problem. The containers and markers will keep them organized and clean.

Creating music encourages my diverse students to collaborate.

Your donation contributes to a positive school climate. Ours is a Title I school; all my students receive free breakfast and lunch. Many families struggle to provide basic supplies for our students. Donating earbuds, headphone splitters, containers, bags, and Sharpies will make music composition and collaboration possible without stretching family budgets further.
