My Students

I have a classroom of 19 eager first graders that come in every morning ready to learn. I have already had so much fun teaching this group of kiddos and I can not wait to see how much they are going to grow throughout the year!

My students truly love learning and they are always cheering each other on.

My students also love being helpful in the classroom. We have classroom jobs and the students work as a team to make sure that their learning environment is how they want it. They love spending time in our classroom library and exploring different learning tools like math manipulatives.

My Project

My first graders come to school every day ready to learn all that they can in the 7 hours they have with me.

With this being my second year of teaching, I am starting to discover more and more great resources to help my students grow as independent learners.

Xtra Math, Vooks, and Storyline Online are just some of the reading and math resources that I use in the classroom that require a tablet or computer. I have a class of 19 this year and would love to be able to provide enough tablets for my students to each have one when working in small groups.
