Help Bring Remote Learning to Life with Magnetic Tools
Help me give my students an in school experience as they learn remotely with magnetic materials that will help my students develop ELA and math skills.
My class has 24 students mostly from low-middle class income households. Many children are from other countries and are not native English language speakers. All of my children are excited and eager to learn and make new friends. We want to make sure that we can provide a structured environment for them. Most of the children in my class are limited to the activities or resources needed in order to develop their cognitive, social, and emotional skills remotely.
Children need many different materials and activities to stimulate and build their learning and development.
There are not enough quality items to learn remotely. Unfortunately, our budget doesn't provide the money to buy all the things we need. Therefore, I am excited to partner with DonorsChoose.org and hope to provide an enriching Kindergarten experience for my class.
My Project
The materials I am asking for are so I may set a room in my home to look like a real classroom. I will be live with my students for 3 hours a day 5 days a week. We will do everything we would have done if we were in the classroom. The materials will be used to teach ELA and math and to help me create a great Kindergarten experience.
For many of my Kindergarten students this will be their first school experience.
Unfortunately due to the Covid virus my students will not be entering the building.
