This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Content journaling and creative writing journaling are powerful tools that students use to synthesize the learning. Creative writing journaling gives students a safe space to share their thoughts, feeling, and ideas on paper. It also provides them the practice they need to become effective writers. Students love to integrate art into their writing and learning. Providing them with notebooks and art supplies will allow them the materials needed to do so.
I will use the notebooks in all content areas and as a daily creative writing journal.
The students will use the art supplies to illustrate their writing and the highlighters to draft and edit their work.
