This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As an art and music teacher at a Title I elementary school, I strive to provide my students with a meaningful and creative education despite budget constraints. Our school prioritizes funding for essential programs such as ESE support and reading intervention, leaving little for the arts.
My students, who have a deep curiosity and passion for creativity, deserve access to quality music and art education.
However, we lack the necessary materials and instruments to give them the full experience they deserve. With your support, I can provide them with resources that will enhance their learning, spark their creativity, and expose them to the joy of artistic expression.
