I teach an amazing group of third graders in Los Angeles. Many of my students speak a language other than English at home. All students receive free breakfast, and over 32% receive free or reduced-price lunch. We are a great multicultural family that loves to learn. Some of my students speak Spanish, Tagalog, and Armenian at home.
My students love working with technology, but we don't have a way to print their colorful projects.
Having a color printer will be a fantastic resource in our classroom.
My Project
My students love to work on many projects during our school year. Many of our projects are technology-based, but my students have only been able to show their electronic portfolios of work during presentations. I have requested a color printer, photo paper, and ink cartridges so my students can showcase their work throughout the year on bulletin boards and in class.
Having color prints to share with classmates, parents, and peers will be a wonderful resource.
I have also requested Sharpies so my students can make colorful posters.
