This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with an incredible group of high school special education students who each have unique learning needs. They are creative, hardworking, and determined to succeed, despite the challenges they may face. By introducing a color printer into our classroom, I will be able to create engaging, customized visuals that help make complex concepts more accessible and easier to understand.
This printer will allow me to print color-coded schedules, visual aids, and instructional materials that cater to my student's specific learning styles, supporting both their comprehension and independence.
My goal is to provide them with tools that will not only enhance their academic learning but also build confidence in their abilities. Each of my students is special because of their resilience and the joy they bring to the classroom, and having resources that are tailored to their needs will help them thrive.
