Help me give my students new books to read! These high interest books will help ignite a passion for reading in my students.

My Project

I teach 48 dual immersion fifth graders at a large school. They are learning to read in both English and Spanish! I want my students to develop a love of reading, and the best way to do that is to put great books into their hands!

The more students read, the greater chance they have to fall in love with reading!

They are much more willing to read when they know they'll have a chance to talk about what they have read with their peers.

The high-interest books we are requesting in this project will enable me to put these great books into their hands!

We are also requesting book labels and magnetic organizing supplies to ensure our new books are easily accessible.
