it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My special needs 4-6th graders from a Title 1 school love to learn through art, but do not take good care of our supplies. I am looking for a positive way of teaching them to take care of our supplies.
My students are better able to make a connection to their learning through art.
In addition, art assists them with handling their emotions and behaviors. Most of my students find writing difficult due to their disabilities. We often use art projects in place of writing for them to express their opinions.
