This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help our students in alternative education! Many students at my site struggle with motivation, engagement, attendance, and social skills, such as conflict resolution, cooperation, and following directions. Other students enter our program having experienced significant trauma. The items in my cart were carefully selected to encourage youth to participate in sessions and build rapport. We need stress balls, LEGO, games, activity books, and more. The resources in this cart will help me connect with each student during initial sessions to work towards progress together. Here is a beautiful opportunity to help at-promise youth thrive and see that their community cares. We would appreciate any help provided. Thank you!
