Help Advance Learning Using 3D Pens!

Help me give my students 3d pens for creating prototypes and making hominid skulls for anthropology class. These items will also be used in a variety of ways in my 9th grade biology class during the engineering components.

My Students

My students are highly motivated 12th graders in a specialized high school in New York City. They come from all economic backgrounds. Each with his or her own quirks, they try very hard to learn and see the world from different perspectives. Some of my students travel over two hours to get to the school. Hardworking and caring, they are an amazing bunch who has big dreams and high hopes!

Creative, engaging, and open-minded, these kids are our dreams and hopes for the future.

I teach a highly motivated group of students. I believe they are the next shakers and movers of this world. They try so hard to understand and solve problems in the world around them; it's amazing and an honor to see them work so hard and reach so far.

My Project

Students will utilize these 3D pens in class to work on prototyping artifacts for hominid investigations. Students in my 9th grade biology class will also use these pens later on as they explore biology of cells and bring together engineering and biology.

These 3D pens will bring learning to life for many students who have never seen 3D pens before and never interacted with technology in the backdrop of biology.

They will provide students the ability to think deeper about the content and give them an outlet to integrate art, tech, and the sciences.
