This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are a half-poverty, high-need population in Northern California. Our school has no extra funds; we are without many things. Kindergarten is a time to explore and realize who you are, who you would want to be, and to feel safe. Unfortunately, almost 40% or more of my students are without many supplies. During this pandemic, we as teachers need supplies and so do our students
As a teacher, there is so much I can do, and there is nothing at times I can do.
This is why we need your help. These children are so thankful, so wonderful and all they need is someone to believe in them. Therapeutic play can serve in individual growth purposes. In childhood, the therapeutic play serves both social and personal functions. Children who have had traumatic experiences can work out their demons encountered by their childhood experience as well as many challenges and anticipations of the future. My students come from a variety of backgrounds and countries. I am so lucky to be their teacher.
My Project
I am in the middle of preparing a Google classroom for my students. I really need a computer that will help me guide my students into distance learning. My students will benefit from my new computer because I will be able to write lesson plans for online learning and for when we all go back to being in the classroom.
This new computer will help me help my students learn though distance learning.
I am now a ZOOM master. I miss the kids, but this is good for distance learning for their teacher now and when we start school again. Thank you for helping us out!
I am asking that you help me fund this computer for the long journey ahead of a teacher and students doing distance learning. I know this will help immensely so I may make slides on Google Classroom. Please help out a teacher . Thank you with all our hearts!
