My Students

This will be my first class ever! I will be teaching 20-25 second graders this upcoming year. That means I have not quite met my students yet. I am certain that they will be great though! I have had the opportunity to work with some through substituting and after school programs at the same school. Student at our school are always respectful, responsible, and all around wonderful kids. I can't wait to welcome them back to school in the fall!

My Project

I am requesting 24 dry-erase whiteboards and dry-erase markers for my classroom. I was waiting to purchase later in the year, but now with the help of DonorsChoose, I can make it a reality sooner! These materials will be beneficial for both the students and I!

Having dry erase boards will make formative assessments quick, easy, and fun for all subjects.

Students love working hands-on​ with whiteboards and I love them because they save paper! These will be a great investment for my classroom because I will be able to keep them for years to come! Thanks in advance for your help!
