This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I just started teaching this wonderful class of 7-8 year-olds so I could really use a lot of support to set up my class for success!

I’ve discovered that a number of my students fidget throughout the day, which takes away from their ability to focus and learn.

Having a standing desk, flexible seating options, and fidget tools will help them tremendously!

In addition, we could really use more NeatSeats. These bags sit on their chairs and help students stay organized while in class. I was given some but don't have enough for everyone in the class. Getting the rest of the students NeatSeats means I can implement this classroom organization tool!

Our school is wonderful and want to organize the classroom so my students can succeed in second grade. Thank you!
