I need assistance for my registration fees to attend a conference that would allow me to grow as an educator and bring that new knowledge back to the children of my classroom.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Weston's classroom raised $918

My Students
My classroom is a bustling learning environment with 26 young minds ready to learn and grow. It is a diverse group of individuals that teach me more than I could ever teach them in a year. The class is run with a mix of structure, love, and a touch of magic. We dance, sing, laugh, read, write, and question anything and everything we can. The children love to explore and experiment while growing leaps and bounds during our very quick school year.
Each day I am blessed with smiling faces and eager eyes, waiting to see what is in store for them.
I have always had a passion to teach Kindergarten, as it is the first step on a long road of learning and the enthusiasm is endless. Our day starts off with a morning meeting, using the responsive classroom approach. Every day we get to greet each other and bond before we jump into the curriculum. Our meetings are key to creating a safe and balanced learning environment.
My Project
I am a big believer that teaching can never be fully mastered, as the needs of our children change with the world around us. Getting to attend the I Teach K! Conference would allow me to experience Kindergarten focused sessions that are relevant to my classroom and the children I teach.
To continue to grow and be an effective educator, it is my responsibility to keep up with best practices and be open to exploring new techniques and ideas to implement or ponder.
The summer is a time of reflection, re-evaluation, and preparation for the next school year. I feel strongly that attending the conference this summer would be revitalizing and the perfect timing to fine tune my program for next year.
