Help! 3 Computers And 3 Printers But No Ink!

My students need ink for our donated printers to print assignments, reserach and other needs for our classroom.

My Students

Due to the fact that schools are faced with tremendous budgets cuts, teachers are forced to spend more money out of their own pocket to make sure their students get everything they need to be prepared for the future.

I teach a 5th grade class full of students who are like sponges, ready to absorb everything I give them.

To get these students ready for the future, I give them many research projects throughout the year to help them get ready for middle school. Therefore, a lot of my students find themselves going to books and computers for group projects and information that they need in order to do their research.

My Project

I currently have 3 working computers in my classroom and three working printers, two of which were donated printers from my former parents. The donation was truly appreciated but the only problem is that it doesn't have anymore ink. Every time a child is working on the computer and asks me, "Teacher, can I print?" I have to respond with "Sorry sweetheart, we don't have ink". This causes so many problems because a lot of my students don't have a printer or computer at home; therefore, they cannot do their research papers. Not being able to print the things we need puts me, the teacher, at a disadvantage also because I cannot print the colorful charts, diagrams or pictures I want to use as teaching tools. Having the ink I need for the printer in our classroom will solve so many problems.

So please help my class by allowing my students to print from my classroom and allow our learning environment to be full of color.

This will make learning more meaningful and enjoyable for my students. Thank you in advance!
