This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a Title 1 school that has Pre-K through 5th grade.

Each grade has a general education class and a integrative co-teaching class. This project is for my first grade class ICT class which has both general education students and special education students.

My Project

My students will use the Lego and magnetic games to develop and enhance their math skills in counting and geometry. Additionally the students will use these materials to bring out their creativity in story telling, architecture and imaginary play. The additional supplies that we are hoping to receive is basic classroom supplies that will be utilized daily, such as colored pencils, sharpener and a paper organizer.

By donating to our project, our students will be able to enhance their learning through games which develop their cognitive skills, fine motor skills and imagination.

Additionally this project will supply our classroom with everyday supplies.
