My Project

This year, I will have the pleasure of teaching first graders. This is a completely new grade, new curriculum, and a new(ish) classroom for me. I want to provide my students with a vibrant and welcoming classroom through the use of colors and flexible seating.

Change is scary, but so is staying the same!

With a new school year quickly approaching, the excitement of setting up a classroom conducive for learning is growing. I would like to utilize the classroom decor collection, Hello Sunshine! from Schoolgirl Style. The cheerful sunshines and colorful rainbows are sure to bring a smile to their face.

The bright colors featured in the Alphabet cards are sure to catch their attention. The Alphabet cards feature long and short vowel picture references, isn't that cool? Additionally, the students will love the idea of flexible seating with the use of the CanDo Donuts and LapDesks. I truly feel that students should have the ability to sit/work where they are most comfortable. These flexible seating arrangements will do just that!

I am so excited to be able to provide my students with an beautifully decorated classroom that radiates happiness.
