Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from diverse backgrounds and home lives. It sometimes affects them socially and emotionally. They mostly come from financially challenging homes. Some come to school hungry and rely on school meals for nourishment. Many of my students need to feel I am there for them which is something I strive to provide for them.
My Project
During our zoom meetings, my students always ask, "Can you see me?" "I have something I want to show you?"
I usually respond, "No, I can't see you when I share my screen with you." I feel the external monitor will give me the ability to see them even if I share my screen with them and visa versa, when they share their screen I can still see them.
The dual monitor will give me the ability to see their happy faces just as if were were together in the classroom learning.
