My Students

This is my second year teaching Pre-K in a NYC public school. I have 13 students that I just met today! I have 6 boys and 7 girls. Each of them arrived eager to learn and so excited to begin their school career. Pre-K is the beginning and I believe it is never too early to teach children how to be explorers, discoverers and creators. It is through play that children learn best. When a student is engaged they learn and grow. I would really appreciate your support in getting these items and helping to make my students’ first school year, one to remember. I want to continue to instill a love of learning, imaginative play and risk-taking that will last each of them a lifetime!

My Project

Children are full of curiosity and wonder. Each of my students come from different backgrounds. The multicultural board books and multicultural puppets will help my students to learn about their culture and the culture of their friends. These items will help my students to embrace and accept each of their classmates uniqueness and cultures. The stamp pads will be used in my art and writing centers. They can be used for so many projects and with my stampers. The Float and Find Alphabet Bubbles will be great for my water table. It will be a great way to make learning the letters and sounds fun and exciting. I hope that you will consider supporting this project and helping to make this year amazing and full of discovery.
