My Project

Yoga mats will greatly help enhance mindful learning and stress management in my classes. Especially my psychology classes, but will also be helpful in all of my classes. Last year I was certified in yoga training and social-emotional learning specifically designed for the classroom.

My goals are to help students incorporate yoga and mindfulness breathing techniques into their daily routines.

Students are extremely stressed. Stress management and mental health awareness are also goals in our district.

When I have incorporated the above techniques into my classroom, the students are extremely receptive and look forward to practicing and engaging in the activities.
