Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our middle school students are bright, resilient, and full of potential. However, as a low-income school with no budget, we lack the resources to fully support the students social-emotional learning (SEL) needs. Many of our students face challenges such as stress, anxiety, and difficult home environments, making SEL tools essential for their success.
With your help, we can provide SEL resources—such as mindfulness kits, emotion regulation tools, and classroom activities—to help our students develop self-awareness, resilience, and positive coping strategies.
These tools will not only improve their emotional well-being but also enhance their focus, behavior, and academic performance.
