My students need headphones to use with our classroom iPads. These headphones are light weight and perfect for our little ears!

My Students

I have the joy of teaching Kindergarten in a neighborhood school. We receive Title One funding because more than 50% of our population receives free or reduced lunch. Students range in ability because some have attended preschool and others have not. They are excited and eager to learn through play! Students range in age from 5 to 6. The classroom is set up as center based with emphasis on building relationships and working together to complete task in each area.

My Project

Our school is fortunate to provide our Kindergarten classes the opportunity to work on I pads. Each of the four classes will have 12 I pads to use during small group instruction but we need headphones to utilize these learning tools to the fullest.

Students will use the Ipads and headphones for programs such as Istation and E-books.

This is an excellent way for our Kindergartens to begin their understanding of technology and to learn at their own rate as most programs are differentiated to the needs of the individual child. The headphones are essential as it will provide a quite learning environment for all students!
