This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is located in Far Rockaway, urban area where funds are very scares in the school. Our students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds with different views on learning education through our school. In order to provide my students with more hands on tools within the classroom. I am looking for some help to provide my students with headphones within the classroom. This will allow my ENL an opportunity to listen to lessons through our I-Ready, Moby Max and First-In -Math station work within the classroom. It will allow them the opportunity to be confident in themselves while learning new content and English.
My Project
All of my students within the classroom come from low-economic backgrounds and where school supplies are scares and in need. Our school is a small family in which we want to provide the best education possible for all our students.
Within my ENL classroom many of my students struggle with the language barrier and comprehension of the content since its not in their native language.
Being able to help my students with the headphones will allow them to feel more confident in the content we are learning in the classroom. Since It will allow them to individual hear specific lessons and provide additional support to not only themselves but others in their group through discussions within our classroom.
