This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have all been provided with a chrome book computer the remains in the classroom. We use these chrome books to use the district approved intervention programs and our testing throughout the year. Headphones play a huge part in this!
Every student comes into first grade on a different level, so by having headphones they are able to focus on their own pathway through the interventions and not worry about other students and what portion of the program they may have reached.
What makes my students special for something like this is the fact that headphones are not cheap and every student may not be able to purchase a good quality pair. Throughout last year many students have purchased ones that one last 1-2 times or they break into the computer. I want to ensure that each and every one of my students is provided with the same headphones so they are able to be successful not only on their interventions but their standardize testing throughout the year!
