it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Hi, my name is Nicole and I teach in a second grade ICT setting. I currently work in a Title I school and many of my students' families are below the poverty line. My classroom is made up predominately of students with disabilities and ENL learners. My students love to learn and are very excited to come to school each day.
In my classroom, my students have started school again remotely.
Some of my students do not have devices to log into our online lessons or complete their classwork! They enjoy logging on to our remote classroom to see their friends and learn new material. In our class, we try to make learning an exciting journey through different types of instruction, especially in this difficult time.
My Project
We have started to use a new reading curriculum in our classroom and part of the curriculum is online. This online program gives students the chance to practice their reading skills by verbally reading texts. Students use the program to learn foundational reading skills to help them learn new words, new vocabulary, and fluency when reading. The students use the program often during the week during our reading block. These headphones will give students to opportunity to practice with the microphones. These headphones will help students become better readers!
