My Students

I teach in urban Indianapolis, Indiana, right in the middle of the city. I have a very diverse classroom and school. Students come from all backgrounds and they all love to learn. They are kind, smart, and extremely hard working.

My Project

My students are extremely hardworking. Throughout the day, they have opportunities to learn through online platforms for reading and math. Occasionally they take quizzes online too. Many students do not have their own headphones. With this grant, I will be able to provide ALL students with headphones to use. This will help them focus on their own learning and not be distracted by what another student is working on. We also go to technology class each week. Students will be able to bring their headphones to technology class as well.
