My Project

My first graders live in a small knit town in North Carolina. They often have little experience with those who do not live like them. They love having access to the world around them via the science and social studies articles from Scholastic news.

Scholastic News gets first graders excited to read and learn with short, on-level nonfiction and remarkable real-world photos.

They are able to learn about kids like them, and kids around the world. Today's students crave access to things that help them learn about and become change makers, and Scholastic News magazines help us bring the
