My Project

My students need headphones to learn in stations quietly without distracting their classmates. My students currently work in 35-minute stations. One station consists of computer instruction where students work on individualized computer programs such as IReady. Right now my students only have two sets of headphones and we have to rotate them among the class and this often disrupts the learning process. Currently, station work is noisy and distracts other students because when students don't have headphones they have to use the computer speaker. This project allows each student to get their own headphone set when they are at the computer station.

Your donation to this project will not only help improve my students' attention and focus but also allow for more differentiated instruction.

My students have special needs and sometimes the noise in the classroom can upset them and throw them off tasks. With these headphones, the noise will be ceased and all students can complete differentiated work on computer programs increasing their academic level.
