Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Most of my kiddos are from a low economic status so sometimes it's a little harder for them to get into the groove of school and focus on learning.
My students reside in one of the biggest states in the U.
S. of A, Texas, and they're ready to learn!
My school's kiddos all get free breakfast, and 90% of them are eligible for free lunch. I want our students to not have to worry about not getting a good grade on their online test because their headphones don't work or the computer battery died. I love that even though my kiddos may struggle in reading or learning how to add or subtract they always are able to put a smile on their face for me when it's learning time!
My Project
These headphones and charging towers will help my kiddos learn online with every word heard. No computers will be dying on them mid lesson as they raise their hand to tell me that their computer died right as they were submitting their assignment. With online learning my students stressor is my stressor and I must find a way to make it all better. Even if I have to read every test in the unit to all of my different classes and lose my voice by lunch, I'll do it! I need these tools so all of my kiddos are able to learn without my assistance. Being independent is the way to go!
