This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Technology tools have become both necessary and engaging in the classroom. These tools teach kids life skills become just academics, and are simply part of life and education in today's world. My students especially enjoy the tech tools I assign for station work such as Flocabulary, Boom Cards, audio books, and more.
The downside to these amazing tools, is that students need their own set of headphones in order to work independently on their digital assignments.
That is why I'm hoping to gain a class set of durable headphones from this project. In the past I have purchased inexpensive earbuds to provide students with after their pair from the beginning of the year supply list inevitably breaks. Unfortunately, those cheapy earbuds don't last much longer. This durable set of headphones will stand the test of 3rd graders, and can hopefully be used in future years as well!
