My Project

Help us purchase a quality sound unit to use for story-tellers, open house, monthly assemblies, literacy/pajama night and more!

We are an urban school, deep in the heart of the capital city of Connecticut.

This is our first year that we can come together again after a couple of very lean years due to COVID19. Our community has already planned dozens of daytime and evening events. We can't wait to come together to grow as a life long learning community.

There is only one hitch - we don't own a simple, powerful sound system which is flexible and mobile so that our voices can be shared and heard at these community events. Our needs are relatively simple. We need to be able to plug in a microphone, and a device to play joyful music at these events. Until now, before the pandemic, we cobbled together a system which was simply too complex for a simple event.

Help us meet our goal! Contribute to our project so that we can be heard when we gather as community - to learn, to live and to love as an urban school community.
