it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This upcoming year my students will be using a new online program to enhance our curriculum and provide my students with extra practice to help them excel in reading and mathematics. To access the program students will need headphones with a microphone. I work with special education students in the intermediate grades. They transition from their homerooms to my classroom to receive services in reading and math. During transitions it is hard for my students to carry all their supplies (chromebook, notebooks, pencil punches, etc) especially when they transition from one building to another; therefore, when they come to my classroom, I try to provide them with as many of these supplies as I can, so they don't have to carry all these supplies back and forth and risk losing them or forgetting them during the transitions. These headphones will remain in my classroom to ensure that my students always have access to our new online program. My students are motivated to learn and although they are aware of their learning struggles, they always try their best and never give up!
