Hear It, Write It, Build: Tools for Every Kinder Learner

Help me give my students headphones that they will need everyday for individualized reading and math intervention programs, as well as a few other tools needed for learning like primary journals for beginning writers.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarteners are bright, curious, and full of energy! To help them thrive in our classroom, I’m requesting headphones, primary journals, pencils, Play-Doh, fidget bands, and math counters. These tools will support their learning across all areas—academics, focus, creativity, and fine motor skills.

These tools will help my kindergarteners build focus, confidence, and independence every single day.

Headphones allow them to concentrate during digital activities, while fidget bands provide a quiet outlet for movement. Primary journals and pencils give students the chance to practice writing, storytelling, and self-expression as they build essential literacy skills.

Kindergarteners learn best by doing, and that’s where Play-Doh and math counters come in. These hands-on tools build fine motor strength, number sense, and creativity. With your support, our classroom will become a well-equipped, joyful place where young learners can explore, focus, and grow every single day.
