My Project
My sixth grade ELA students are creative, determined, and full of potential. They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique perspectives to our classroom every day. What makes them special is their incredible drive to grow as readers and writers, even when the work feels challenging. They love opportunities to learn in hands-on, interactive ways, and they thrive when they have the right tools and materials to support their growth.
This project will provide essential items that make learning more accessible and engaging for all students.
New books will spark a love for reading and expand their access to high-interest texts. Headphones and whisper phones will help students who need accommodations engage more independently with reading and writing tasks. Supplies like writing tools, organizers, and learning aids will make interactive activities more meaningful and organized. My goals are to create a classroom where every student feels equipped, confident, and excited to dive into literacy.
